Data Deletion Policy

1. How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion of your Walk/Run Challenge account and associated data by emailing:

2. What We Delete

After verifying your identity, we will delete or anonymize (where applicable):

  • Account profile information
  • Authentication identifiers (including linked social/provider IDs)
  • Fitness/activity data stored in our systems
  • Stored provider tokens (if any are stored)

3. What We May Retain

We may retain limited information where required to:

  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements
  • Maintain security logs and prevent fraud/abuse

4. Third-Party Providers

If you connected a third-party provider (such as Facebook, Garmin, Fitbit, or Strava), you may also revoke access directly in that provider’s settings. Deleting your Walk/Run Challenge account deletes data stored by us, but does not automatically delete your account with the third-party provider.

5. Timing and Confirmation

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary for security reasons. We will confirm once deletion is completed.
